25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

AMA negotiated several AEA and AFTRA deal points, collaborative intellectual property rights and merchandising residuals for three original Broadway cast members.

Our former client, Dan Fogler, was cast in an improv show called Crepuscule in the early years of the millennium. Through the auspices of Tony Award-winning audience members Wendy Wasserstein and Bill Finn, the property quickly blossomed into a musical production at Barrington Stages. The eventual attachments of David Stone and James Lapine led to an inevitable off-Broadway run at Second Stage Theatre, which springboarded the show directly to a two-year Broadway run.

Several awards followed the show’s debut at Circle in the Square Theatre in 2005, including Fogler’s Tony for Best Male Actor in a Musical and Rachel Sheinken’s Tony for Best Book of a Musical, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book of a Musical and the Louise Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical. Two national Broadway tours have been followed by countless regional and local productions.

My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy

Steve Solomon's Tony Award-winning Broadway show is one of the longest-running one-man shows to date, with several worldwide runs. Over half a million people have enjoyed this evening with virtually dozens of Steve’s family members through his side-splitting characterizations. Please enquire for information about presenting this show in Israel and the United Kingdom.

Be A Man

AMA Management packaged our clients, actor/comedian/writer Exiene Lofgren and director Grant Kretchik for the only stand-up comic’s one-man show in the 2009 New York City Fringe Festival, produced at the Player’s Loft in Greenwich Village. The two-week run played to sold-out audiences and was honored with four stars by Time Out Magazine. Our responsibilities covered administrative and publicity with the Fringe Festival, procurement of sponsors, production of the Playbill, ticket sales and videotape of the show.
